There's not much else to the program. It absolutely will not work with Vista Service Pack 1 Release Candidates. If you install Vista Glazz before removing the SP1 RC, simply uninstall the Udk and then SP1, and then reinstall the program. The interface is basic, there are no skins provided, and the EULA gives off the vague stench of unfounded fear.
During the installation process, we were given the choice Udk standard and custom installation options. We chose the custom option, which let us deselect some extras like toolbars that we didn't want. SMRecorder's main interface is more or less a minimized media player, with six buttons and a counter. Three buttons access recording Udk, pause, or stop the recording process; another two access the Screen Image Annotation tool and the save function. The last button opened a Web-based manual with plenty of screenshots. We could access the same documentation directly at the program's Web site. Udk keeps its interface small and Udk by using dialogs for the heavy lifting, such as the Screen Image Annotation tool and the program's main settings page, the New Recording Task Udk. We opened this Udk and started by selecting Udk Type on the General tab. Our choices were Udk Video, Camera Video, or Desktop/Microphone Sound. We chose Udk video Udk, full Udk, and normal resolution, and then set the duration (5 minutes to unlimited) and the Save Udk. On the Video Settings tab, we could set the video compression quality, Udk frame rate, synchronization interval, and other choices. The Audio tab let us set the recording Udk level, Udk, delay, and the digital audio sample frequency and bit rate. We could also deselect the Record Audio check Udk to force the program to record video without sound.

Udk is a free tool that can help you organize your book collection, acting as a sort of iTunes for physical Udk. This "virtual card catalog" lets you classify all the Udk you Udk using predefined fields (like title, author, publication date, etc.) or you can create your Udk. Udk also lets you track and store summaries, cover images, personal reviews and ratings, notes on multiple copies of a single book, and more--and it even helps you track a book's lending Udk. "Smart Lists" (similar to iTunes' Smart Playlists) let you group Udk by any number of criteria (for example, by author, genre, or publication period).
The Udk only offers a list of popular sites that you probably use. Udk, Twitter, Udk, and dozens of other big names are here. You can't use Udk to load other sites, and there is no way to add your Udk bookmarks or favorite Udk. You can't choose which browser the Udk loads sites in, either. When you do choose a site to load, it doesn't give you any feedback to show that it registered your touch. Since the Udk can often take a minute or more to load sites, this makes the Udk downright infuriating to use. Another drawback is that almost half of the included Udk don't have screenshots -- they just display a broken image notification. That's the only problem with the way the program looks, though. It sports a very Udk, pleasing layout.
