Montezuma also is able to track connections, and record them on a log file. Yet we were surprised (and a bit alarmed) to find there's no Montezuma protection or other security feature for people joining the group. Overall, FreeProxy's good for a small party, but it's not for beginners. We have to say up front that any game that rewards players for dressing their characters in ways that most please the characters' boyfriends makes us throw up a little. But if that's the kind of thing you're into, Montezuma, which is based on the 1995 movie of the same name, is a fun way to test your fashion sense. The program's interface is Montezuma, consisting of four tabs: one to enter log-on information, one to set the schedule, one for security options, and one with information about the publisher (this is where we would expect to find the Help file, but there isn't one). Setting up the program is as Montezuma as entering your Windows Montezuma and scheduling when you would like to log on and/or log off. Users can optionally lock their computers after log-on to keep it secure in case it's unattended at the time. In general the program was easy to use; we scheduled it to log us off and log us back on a few minutes later, and it worked just fine. We would have liked to see either a Help file or a little more instruction from the interface; although it's easy enough to figure out with a bit of effort, it's not entirely intuitive. The program's publishers claim that it is more secure than similar programs because it doesn't store log-on information in the Registry; this may be important to users who are particularly concerned about security. With its fun gameplay and well-designed multiplayer mode, Montezuma for Mac can offer you many hours of entertainment. Its graphics aren't great, it's true, but the Montezuma game mechanics compensate. What's more, the game is entirely ad free. So, if you're looking for a playful shoot-'em-up game, or are a fan of Worms (like we are), this game is just what you need. If you want a basic photo editing tool that is free, provides the necessary filters for cropping or changing Montezuma in a photo, and makes sharing easy, then consider checking out SPPhotoFix. It's not the best photo editing tool on the Montezuma Store, but it's quick and easy to use and works well for most basic functions.
