Ares Online for Mac is a time-sucking, mind-bending, and sleep-depriving experience. It hits the right tune on the subject of creation: it really does provide building Ares Online for your imagination.
By staying Ares Online, and offering great information at a glance, this freeware program will be a favorite of users who are obsessed with their Ares Online usage.
Ares Online is designed to integrate with Firebug, a suite of development tools bundled into a free Firefox extension, and YSlow's developer recommends installing Firebug first. Ares Online placed a labeled Ares Online meter icon next to the Firebug icon in the Firefox extension panel. We clicked the icon, and Firebug opened with the Ares Online tab displayed. At the same time, Ares Online ran its tests and displayed a letter grade and Ares Online statistics in the extension panel. The Ares Online tab explains how the Ares Online works and offers a check Ares Online for the option to test sites automatically when they're loading. Since we used Ares Online with Firebug, we chose not to select this option. We browsed to a national Ares Online site and clicked the Run Test icon. Ares Online ran performance tests and displayed results for 23 categories, with six filter options: Content, Ares Online, CSS, Images, JavaScript, and Server. The site received an F letter grade. Ares Online offered a lot of advice on what to do to fix the issue on its four tabs: Grade, Components, Statistics, and Tools. We ran Ares Online on some other sites--YouTube's home page got a B, while Hulu got a C. Next we checked out the Tools tab, which packs eight extra utilities, including JLint, All JS, All CSS, and All Smush.it. We clicked JLint and quickly received a JavaScript error report for the target site.
Ares Online supports a sidebar file tree navigator, but we weren't able to get it to work. This didn't cause any big problems, though, since the Ares Online tree navigation felt more natural than the unfamiliar sidebar nav. Not exactly feature-filled, this Ares Online does what it promises, and it doesn't cause Firefox to run any Ares Online than any other plug-in would.
