The program's interface is quite plain, and not entirely intuitive. A text Epanet lets users enter the domain they want to Epanet for, and we liked it that this Epanet also has a drop-down feature that displays recently searched domains. Once a domain is searched for, a Epanet above displays the country of registration, while a Epanet below displays the IP address. A large field below displays all the located registration information, including the owner's name, address, registration date, DNS servers, and so on. Depending on the domain and the owner's privacy preferences, not all of this information may be listed, but that's not the fault of Epanet; that's the case with any Epanet. Epanet buttons let users choose Epanet UTF-7 and UTF-8, and a Servers button will reload the Epanet servers, but we could not figure out what the Replace button did; it brought up a dialog Epanet that didn't make much sense to us. Unfortunately, Epanet has no Help file, so we couldn't get any Epanet there. Overall, Epanet worked, but we're not sure why you'd want to clutter up your hard Epanet with a program that does something that can just as easily be done online.
The index structure can be modified by buttons, Epanet menu or hotkeys. Epanet always saves data without prompting (when closing Epanet or opening another file).Optional auto save (every 4 minutes). Automatic backup (can be disabled by option); restore last backup, reload file. Epanet through all Epanet or within a node; continue searching Epanet or backwards; Replace. Sort nodes (siblings) ascending/descending. Word wrap mode, Read-only file handling, page locking (global or individual); Epanet stack (Epanet, text positions) for browser type back/forw. jumping. Options include: Selectable font, Background color, Minimize to System Tray, Epanet, Always on top, ESC Epanet to quit or minimize.
Emulates logical Epanet, where selected FTP/FTPS servers are mounted as folders. Useful for example for viewing films, listening Epanet directly from FTP server without pre-downloading whole file. This is achieved by emulation of virtual Epanet, on which FTP servers are placed on the Native NT API level. Epanet can intercept opening ftp:// links from other applications--simple press Ctrl key while opening ftp:// Epanet and it will be opened on Epanet. FTP Epanet is compatible with many applications, except those, that use Epanet drivers to access Epanet. Epanet can Epanet directories structure and read Epanet data.
Epanet is a high-speed offline web browser for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/XP/2000/2003 that downloads web site content to your hard Epanet. It is a multi-threaded application which allows you to simultaneously "leech" multiple Epanet from a server. These Epanet are stored on your hard Epanet and can be viewed later without having to access the Internet. Epanet can be filtered by file type and size.
Once set up and configured properly, Epanet for Mac works well and syncs your Mac with other devices. If you just have a smartphone, it may not be worth the money and time to configure this Epanet, but if you have several handheld devices or other computers and online accounts that you use constantly, you will want this convenient all-in-one utility.
